Check Out My New Blog

For the last few years I've found that creating a journal has been very helpful for me. But I still am not regular enough about writing in it. I've wanted to start a blog for some time and thought what a great way to put more structure around my journaling than to start a blog. You can reach the blog from the website or directly at blog.sacredtouchformen.com.

While at the blog feel free to add your comments. The blog isn't just about massage or my work. I want to use it to write about whatever is going on in my life. Basically, a way of exposing the soul. Take a look!

What Am I Thinking and Feeling When Giving a Massage?

A few months ago someone asked me what I'm thinking about while giving a massage. I thought this would be a great topic for the newsletter.

Once the massage room is ready, I spend a few minutes before you arrive centering and grounding myself. I do this by sitting and consciously breathing for a few minutes. I've found that focusing on my breath helps me to set aside the things that I have going on in my life so that I can give you my full attention during our time together.

After you arrive and are on the table, I do another short grounding exercise before beginning the massage. I place my hands over your body and take a few good breaths. This helps me clear my mind again and begin to connect with you.

You may hear me breathing during the massage. Not only does this help to remind you to breathe, it also helps me stay focused on what I'm doing. I've spent much of my life listening to my head more than my heart or my touch - I worked with computers for a long time! Breathing helps me focus on my heart and the connection I am having with you.

Many times during the massage I find myself closing my eyes. I do this because I'm generally a very visual person. I rely on my eyes for a lot of information. But the eyes don't tell me much during a massage. I like to be aware of what your body is telling me. By closing my eyes I can really feel what my hands are telling me about your tissues and this helps me focus on areas of your body that needs attention.

I try to stay present to the part of the body I'm working on rather then think about where I may be going next. I've found that the body has a lot to tell me if I simply listen. I can't listen if my mind is focused on what I should be doing next. I work to focus on what I'm doing now. By being present I am aware of many subtle movements in the body. These movements tell me things like where you're feeling stress or how relaxed you are. Where I work is driven not only by what we talk about before beginning the massage, but also what your body tells me during the massage.

I usually end a massage by gently lifting your neck and letting you relax the back of your neck on the tips of my fingers. This not only relaxes your neck muscles but also help ground our energies and is a nice way to end the massage.

A New Experiment in Learning

I've just started teaching an online class on accessing erotic trance for men. The class is hosted by The New School of Erotic Touch - which is a great resource for erotic education. I've written the first few exercises and have already posted the first one. I've also made several short video clips that will be posted there too. I may also post the exercises and video clips on my website too. But, for now, they're on only on the New School's site.

The tutorial will focus on six main areas and there will be an exercise you can do on your own for each of the sections.

Breath is the key to waking and building erotic charge in the body. The first session will focus on the importance of breathing when building erotic energy. Many of us are used to holding our breath and tensing our muscles when building erotic energy. Breath is the foundation for accessing erotic trance.

Movement is important to circulate that energy throughout the body. This session will incorporate movement to wake up the body and prepare for a blissful erotic experience.

The 'genital hole' refers to the feelings that many of us have around our cock and balls. Many of us carry some shame from our genitals as a result of our culture. As a result, we tend to lose feeling in this area. The interesting thing is that when masturbating, we tend to focus only on the genitals and lose focus on the rest of the body. I call this effect the 'reverse genital hole'. The exercise for this section will help include all of the body while self-pleasuring.

The first 15 to 20 minutes are very important. Most of us learned to masturbate when we were much younger and for a variety of reasons were conditioned to reach orgasm very quickly. Long after this time, many still have these habits when self-pleasuring. This exercise will help move erotic energies diffusing the need to ejaculate quickly.

The fifth exercise will help differentiate excitement from enjoyment. Most of us are good at building excitement - the increasing energy that builds pleasure. Generally, we aren't as comfortable with enjoyment - just experiencing the pleasure.

The final exercise will help create intention around ejaculation. I believe that ejaculation is a wonderful experience, but that many men do it out of habit. This final exercise will help move the erotic energy all over so that ejaculation isn't out of habit. Then, with a conscious intention to ejaculate we can do it with abandon!

The wonderful thing about on-line workshops is that you can read the discussions and do the exercises at any time that's convenient for you. I look forward to having you join us - now or in the future.

Have fun and keep enjoying!
